Airtricity, one of Ireland’s leading renewable energy company, has announced its new €2.6 million green energy contract with the Musgrave Group.
By switching to Airtricity, Musgrave Group will save the release of over 21,000 tonnes of CO2 into the atmosphere each year – equivalent to taking 5,216 cars off our roads. Commenting on the agreement John Curran, Musgrave Group Environmental Executive said, “Climate change and energy management are crucial sustainability issues for businesses. Energy consumption, particularly electricity use, is a key consideration for our organisation in terms of lowering emissions of CO2 and other greenhouse gases. Airtricity was first choice to help reduce our CO2 emissions due to their competitive prices and first class service”.
David Brown Sales and Marketing Director with Airtricity added, “Companies like Musgrave Group and other organisations across Ireland are now more aware than ever of their responsibility to the environment and the need to implement environmentally friendly programmes. Currently over 38,000 businesses in Ireland choose Airtricity as their electricity provider, helping to reduce the impact on the planet’s health and reduce energy costs”. |
