Tina's own background encompasses over 20 years experience in Sales & Marketing and people development. Many of these years involved working as a contractor with Bord Gais Eireann and an Asset Management Company, where Tina's key responsibilities included managing a sales team and multiple property portfolios. With LMI her new role will see her concentrating on her key strength area of people development in a work environment.

"I'm excited because I get to sell the concept of LMI. People development is what interests me most. I suppose I've always been interested in that side of business, even without ever thinking about it too much.

"On a personal level, my own career has always been about developing myself. I believe this can be achieved by meeting people, which I have always enjoyed. With LMI I get to do that all the time now. "I get huge satisfaction seeing what people get from what we offer. It's all about finding a balance. The positivity is the greatest thing about my job, and seeing people gaining so much from our programmes which gives great satisfaction. Because, after all, we work to live, we don't live to work. That's my opinion, my motto."

It's a motto Tina abides by as evidenced by her activities away from LMI. "I enjoy walking and I recently completed a charity walk for the Irish Heart Foundation in India. I was there for 12 days. We walked for six full days and two half days and managed to raise €6,000 in the process. I've taken some golf lessons and hope to try my hand at that in the coming year.

And what of Tina's new year's resolutions? "A personal goal for me would be to partake in another charity event in the coming year and from a business perspective, I want to increase the number of people using LMI."
