While she admits that there was a lot of work involved in learning how to successfully set-up and run a business she says that she felt that opening her own workshop was the only way  to do justice to the training and opportunities she acquired along the way.

For Tuula it was also very important to provide a more traditional service to her customers,  providing an exclusive combination of jewellery design, production and customer care which is second to none. “I wish all my customers to feel that I have provided them with a high quality product and service as well as an original experience, resulting in a reputation as one of Irelands’ best and most well respected goldsmiths and designers,” she says.

Today Tuula supplies galleries and stores around the country with her silver and gold ranges and works on commissioned design pieces through direct sales to her studio, which is open to the public.
