One of the country's leading Medical and Healthcare Recruitment Companies, TTM Healthcare, has established a Branch at Mitchelstown, the official opening of which will be performed by Junior Enterprise Trade & Employment Minister Billy Kelleher TD on Tuesday, June 23. The company is part of the 100% Irish-owned TTM Group which employs 15 people nationwide and expects to grow further.

TTM Recruitment specialise in the recruitment of Social Workers, Social Care Professionals, Psychologists, Pharmacists, Doctors, Nursing staff, Allied Health, Bio-Medical Scientists and various other health professionals.

TTM is the recognised and exclusive vendor to some of the largest Public and Private Health & Social Care Service providers internationally. The company was set up in 2002 to recruit, re-locate and induct Social Care and Allied Health Professionals from all over the Globe. With three regional offices in Ireland and partners all over the globe, they manage some of the most important projects for Government Health and Social Care providers. Since 2002 TTM have recruited 1000's healthcare professionals to work in Ireland, the UK, Canada, Europe, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand and various other countries.

Other companies in the TTM Group include www.careermanagement.ie offering professional CV design and tailored Interview performance training and Recruitsafe a unique product which offers a comprehensive verification, background-checking and vetting solution for employers.

TTM is working with many clients in the South West area, and Mitchelstown is an ideal location situated within easy reach of Cork, Waterford and Limerick cities. The Mitchelstown Office is led by Charlene Cooke, an experienced healthcare recruiter who will also lead TTM's Life-Science and Radiology recruitment function nationally. Charlene, a Mitchelstown native, comes into the post having amassed five years experience in the medical and healthcare recruitment profession, during which time she liaised with private hospitals both here in Ireland and in Northern Ireland. "It was too good an opportunity to turn down," she says of her new post. "It's very much a long term job and being a Mitchelstown native the location was absolutely ideal. I'm within close commuting distance to many of our clients, which is reassuring for them." TTM felt it was important to have a presence in Cork and Mitchelstown was deemed the ideal location. The company's Ennis and Dublin offices already give them a good geographical spread in terms of the East and the West but seeing as they service a lot of requirements in the South a permanent physical presence there was deemed a important necessity.

"We are looking to expand the Mitchelstown office in the immediate future, rolling out our Recruitment, Career Management and Vetting brands, which will provide employment opportunities in the town," says Charlene. "Thankfully, TTM are defying the trends in the country's economy. At a time when many businesses are tightening their belt buckles, TTM is growing." The company's success can be underlined by its performance this month, with Charlene being set a target of attracting two new clients. She not only met this requirement, but easily surpassed it, bringing in 11 new clients in all. "We attribute our success mainly to the manner in which have differentiated on quality and by offering flexible staffing solutions which are driving down costs to our clients," she says. "It helps greatly that I'm working for such a well known company in the field. "The team here are great, and we plan on building this team further. It's onwards and upwards from here. It's difficult to come across the kind of professionals we deal with, but it's great to have the demand for our services, and I'm delighted to be assisting them."
