The beginning of a New Year is the perfect time to launch a new training course that helps participants eradicate the age-old problem of procrastination. Aodan Enright, owner of Smarter Egg Training and Consulting, based in Cork is an expert in the area of procrastinating and describes himself as a 'recovering procrastinator'. Aodan has developed a customised programme 'Overcoming Procrastination' that is designed to help us become aware of how and why we tend to put things off, and to arm us with the means to get things done.

Smarter Egg's next 'Overcoming Procrastination' programme begins every Wednesday from 10 February until 10 March at the Ambassador Hotel. Each facilitated session will run from 7 to 9.30pm.

The programme has already proven to be successful among the local business community, with participants recording that they had, on average, doubled their capability to get things done.

Enright says: “We recently undertook a survey of over 100 business people. The results demonstrated just how fed up we are becoming with this problem as over two thirds of respondents said that they were frustrated with not getting things done, most or every day.”

'Overcoming Procrastination' is just one of a series of unique facilitated group learning programmes that Smarter Egg provides, including its popular 'Break from the Pack', which uses a selection of different types of books to generate fresh ideas from active discussions.
