Cork's network for IT professionals, it@cork, have published its 2007 Annual Review, detailing all activities from the past year in addition to a comprehensive member listing, reviews and photography from major events and tips on how to make the most of corporate membership.

Highlights of the 2007 calendar year for the IT network included a full house in the Murphy Brewery to hear entrepreneur Jerry Kennelly's speak in June, a sold out inaugural Leaders Awards Ceremony in November, the Annual Technology & Business Conference in November which was attended by 250 members and an increase in corporate membership from 240 to 280 members.

Speaking at the launch of the Annual Review, Catherine Wall, it@cork Programme Manager said, "It was another fantastic year for it@cork and our members. In all, over 1500 members attended 24 events. Our membership has surged to 280 corporate members and we have now achieved a scale that attracts international technical experts to address our members".

Donal Manning, it@cork Chairman and ICT manager of Heineken Ireland added, "2007 was a very significant year for it@cork, marking our 10th Anniversary. We celebrated a decade of achievement and success by staging the inaugural Leaders Awards in County Hall on November 1. This event provided us with the opportunity to recognise some of the leading companies and individuals in our community that are driving progress and to connect with all the key players in the region for an evening of networking, reflection and celebration".

Fergal O' Sullivan, IBM, it@cork member and sponsors of the Annual Review said, "IBM is committed to nurturing the talent and strengths of the it@cork community who are among the industry's most talented and enthusiastic experts, with much experience to share. We recognise the importance of bringing companies together to increase the level of collaboration and innovation in today's highly competitive and globally integrated marketplace".
