Details of the 9th Technology in Business Conference, which takes place on Wednesday, November 28, in the Radisson Hotel, Little Island, Cork were announced by it@cork, this week.

The theme for this year’s Conference is ‘Connect and Innovate’, where a panel of leading international experts from Ireland, the UK, Sweden, Canada and the USA will debate the importance of innovation for the continued growth of Irish companies, as well as exploring how global collaborations are the key to facilitating this success.

Speaking about the upcoming Conference, Mr Tom Raftery, it@cork Conference Chair said, it@cork are delighted to bring together such a highly respected group of international speakers, with such a variety of experiences and backgrounds. These speakers are coming to Cork to meet with Irish businesses and share their views on driving innovation. Everyone involved in business appreciates the importance of innovation for success today. However Irish companies, even our larger ones, need to recognise that they cannot innovate by themselves and that connecting with companies globally is critical to success”.

The Conference, which is being run by it@cork, has become one of Ireland’s premier IT events, with a growing international reputation. Each year it continues to grow attracting hundreds of delegates from all over the country. This event will be of interest to people in all business sectors and backgrounds.

The conference fee for it@cork members is €300 and the non member rate is €400 per person. For more information on the Technology in Business Conference or to register online visit www.itcork.ie or telephone Catherine Wall on 021-2307011.
