LeisureWorld Churchfield are hoping that people of all ages will use 2010 to get out and about more. To encourage this, it has launched an initiative in conjunction with its football pitches. The Sam Allen Football Pitches on Knockfree Avenue boast a wonderful view of Cork City and both the staff and management at the centre wish to mark the occasion of the refurbishment and rebranding of the pitches for 2010.

The refurbishment coupled with the introduction of reduced and more competitive prices – and the friendly and supportive staff on site – should make the Sam Allen Pitches the preferred choice for football on the North side of the city.

Cork City Football Club manager, Roddy Collins and some players will officially open the pitches. The opening takes place on 9 February at 5.30pm.
