Targeting graduates and employers alike, www.irishgradjobs.ie says it intends to shake up the graduate recruitment market by offering greater choice, a wide range of jobs in key sectors and a sophisticated screening process which matches CVs submitted to available jobs.

Over 180,000 graduates or recent graduates will be targeted by the new website with a view to attracting the best that Ireland has to offer for Irish employers some of whom have already started to bring in talent from abroad due to a shortage of skills in key sectors. The website already has some 2,000 CV’s in the database.

For graduates, the new website gives them easy access to Ireland’s top employers in a variety of different sectors including IT, Financial Services, Engineering, Business and legal. Easy to use with a simple registration function, the site offers students and graduates a range of tools and advice to ensure that they land their dream job, including CV advice, covering letters, a graduate job success kit, networking, psychometric testing and placement statistics. The site also features news about third level education including additional relevant news items and industry information across the various sectors.

For recruiters, Irishgradjobs.ie is designed to be a quick and reliable source for some of the countries top graduates. An initial consultation and job description is provided and irishgradjobs.ie will search the database for candidates to match the criteria, all relevant CV’s are dispatched within 48 hours, so a quick turnaround is promised. Other additional features include an option to post a branded job advert on the site, placing a profile about the company recruiting or even establishing a microsite on site to enable a long term graduate campaign. A quarterly news letter is also issued to all recruiters using irishgradjobs.ie containing key industry information and advice on graduate recruiting strategies, surveys and profiles on ‘hot’ graduates. Irishgradjobs.ie is offering an initial offer of free advertising for all recruiters using the site for the first two months.
