Management at Cork based firm, Blackstone Security, will announce a plan to provide 150 jobs for the Munster area over the next twelve months.
The official employment announcement will be made at the Blackstone Security corporate launch at the Boardwalk Bar & Grill in Cork on Thursday, July 9.
Managing Director David Collins spoke enthusiastically regarding the company's positive outlook and aggressive business plan moving forward. "Security is a knowledge-based industry that evolves almost every day."
"The business development team that we have assembled has an unmatched depth of international experience, both at strategic and operational levels. It is this knowledge that allows Blackstone Security to provide some of the most revolutionary security solutions on the market."
"We are committed to providing 150 employment opportunities in the areas of security operations, business development and sales, and administration. These jobs will be based across the wider Munster region," added Collins.
Styling itself as 'a holistic security provider', Blackstone Security recently added the Maher's chain of sports stores, the Savoy Nightclub, the Boardwalk and Brook Catering to its list of clients. Members of the management team have been responsible for the design and implementation of security procedures for such high profile individuals as former US president Bill Clinton. The growth of this international dimension is certainly a fundamental component of the organisation's employment agenda. Key elements that will drive expansion will be the introduction of new security initiatives and the further development of the Blackstone Training Academy.
