FEE-Fi-Fo-Fum...I smell the blood of an Irish child! The much anticipated panto season returns to the Cork Opera House this Sunday 13 December with the much loved and hilarious fairytale, Jack and the Beanstalk. This classic pantomime features the unlikely hero Jack, his crazy mother Dame Molly Coddle, the love of his life, Jill, a moonwalking Cow, 'Moo Tube', a bag of magic beans, a greedy banker, a hungry giant and a beanstalk stretching to the clear blue yonder.

Last year's pantomime, Sleeping Beauty was hugely successful. As a result, director Bryan Flynn and his creative team are returning this year with another fully professional production full of stunning sets, dynamic dancing, top of the chart tunes and hilarity for all.

Bryan and his team have been thrilling Cork audiences for the past eight years with their high energy, high quality, and high-class productions. This script is co-written by Bryan Flynn and Killian Donnelly. The set and beautiful costumes are designed by Lisa Zagone and Zanna Goodall and amazing dance moves are by choreographer Ciaran Connolly.

Part of the Christmas season for many people is a visit to the panto, so take a visit to the fairytale land of Waterpale for a wonderful production filled with music and magic that is great value for money. A family ticket of €100 is available through 10 January, and that price plummets to only €80 for a family ticket from 12 January!

Jack and the Beanstalk opens on Sunday 13 December. Tickets may be subject to a booking fee of €2.50 per ticket. School groups are exempt from booking fees. Tickets are €26 and a family ticket is €100 up until 10 Jan.

Week beginning 11 Jan: family Ticket €80; all single tickets €22 and school concession: €21. Book on line at www.corkoperahouse.ie or book by phone on 021-4270022.
