October is upon us and over the days and weeks ahead we will see a lot of the top high-street stores and designers launch ranges aimed at raising awareness about and supporting breast cancer. This month, Orla Kiely will launch a new exclusive accessories collection in Ireland to support Fashion Targets Breast Cancer (FTBC) in aid of Action Breast Cancer, a programme of the Irish Cancer Society and Europa Donna Ireland – uniting a leading fashion designer with a worthy respected cause. Inspired by the iconic FTBC bull's eye target symbol, the capsule collection features a graphic pattern in Orla's instantly recognisable signature style. The target motif is subtly worked into the range through Orla's traditional designs. Geometric floral sketches adorn each piece in a soft, muted colourway, whilst the centre of each flower bears the distinct target symbol. The range will be sold exclusively through Brown Thomas and includes a classic shoulder bag (€160), a large book tote bag (€165), a zip wallet (€90) and a cosmetic bag (€85). Warehouse will be launching this new T-shirt in store this week in a bid to support Breakthrough Breast Cancer who aim to fight the disease through research, campaigning and education. The pink ribbon T-shirt is a stylish way to support this worthwhile cause. The unique pink logo with sequin detail is set against a soft grey and white striped background to add a fresh modern twist whilst highlighting the Warehouse and Breakthrough collaboration. The T-shirt retails at €25 and a minimum £2 sterling donation will go to Breakthrough. |
