New Douglas business is simply spaw-tastic!

Is it time to pamper your pooch? No one likes to see a mucky dog, especially when they're hopping all over your furniture, so why not take the stress of a dirty dog away and give your pup that well needed scrub?

The Spaw is a self-service dog boutique that was opened in October 2017 by Derek O'Brien. The boutique offers a self service dog wash’n’dry, as well as professional nail clipping and ear cleaning, so your prized pup will be spiffing after a visit to The Spaw.

The boutique will soon have a small range of high quality pets care products, such as orthopedic beds and dental care, while gift vouchers are also very popular - perfect for the pooch in your life this Christmas!

Derek started the business after seeing first hand what a badly needed service it is in Cork - dog owners no longer have to chase their dogs in the garden, or destroy their bathrooms while trying to wash their pooch!

There’s no similar business in Cork, or Ireland, for that matter. It’s a new concept and the feedback from customers has been 10/10, according to Derek. The self service wash and power dry ensure all dogs can leave The Spaw not just clean but also dry.

It’s mess free, fun, and a civilized dog wash experience for all the family!

The Spaw is based at 26b St Patrick's Woolen Mills in Douglas and can be contacted on 087-0671398 or visit spaw.ie.
