Seven cutting edge Cork firms are to create an extra 100 jobs over the next three years.

Minister  for  Enterprise,  Trade  and Employment, Micheál Martin, TD announced yesterday (Wednesday, March 5) that seven firms namely Documatics, Eolas International, Epic Solutions, Aspiracon, Alpha Healthcare, Eirebloc, Enbio  are to create new jobs over the coming years.

Speaking yesterday, the Minister said, “these firms across the City and County form part of a record breaking year by  Enterprise Ireland in terms of the numbers of companies established and the number of jobs created.

“The  companies  are already giving work to 100 people and this will double as  they  expand  their  exports into new world markets. Cork is one of the most  successful  counties  in  terms  of  company  start  ups supported by Enterprise  Ireland  and it is clear that the local spirit of enterprise is delivering jobs into many communities.”

Concluding  the Minister said that the Government  is committed to supporting Cork companies into the future. “Whether  it  is through the provision of start up office space, support for research  and development or help to break into new markets we are working to  ensure  Cork’s  small and medium sized firms remain at the top of their field,” he said.
