The 2008 Meteor Munster Sevens Tournament officially kicks off: Sevens International Star, Denis Hurley along with Heineken Cup Heroes, Liefi mi Mafi and Alan Quinlan joined Meteor's Head of Communication, Amanda Carroll from Patrickswell, Co Limerick, to launch the 2008 Meteor Munster Sevens Tournament at Charleville RFC.

Taking place on Saturday, August 30 at Garryowen FC in Limerick, this year's tournament will see the top 16 senior clubs battle it out on the pitch for the coveted title. Joining the tournament for the first time also, is eight junior club teams and the top six ladies squads. The event kicks off at Midday with over 60 games taking place throughout the day.

As well as catching all the exceptional action on the pitch, supporters can enjoy a free, fun filled day of activity at Garryowen FC with a barbeque, Live entertainment, bouncing castles and face painting, making it a day the whole family can enjoy!
