Sr. Miriam is Cork Person of the Month. Sr. Miriam O'Connell of Mallow has been named Cork Person of Month to mark her work with the Anchor Centre for addiction counselling at Spa Glen, Mallow. Sr. Miriam, originally from Lackandarra.

Glantane, will now go forward with the other Persons of the Month chosen this year, for possible selection as Cork Person of the Year. President Mary McAleese will attend this Gala Award Lunch on January 25 next at the Sheraton Fota Island Golf Resort & Spa.
