A woman was assaulted in Cork city in what gardai believe was a sexually motivated attack. The assault happened in the Turners Cross area on Sunday 15 November at around 12.30am. The woman was walking on Evergreen Road when a man grabbed her from behind and dragged her into Evergreen Court. He assaulted her and fled the scene a short time later.

The case is still under an on going investigation. Witnesses are being asked to contact the Bridewell Garda Station on 021-4943330.
