How long have you been driving?

I have been driving since I was 17. My father used take me driving when I was younger on the Old Mallow Road and it was a great way to get me learning at a young age for something that you would be lost without.

What was your first car?

The first car I drove was a 1993 Grey Ford Fiesta - which was my mothers. It was a fine car to drive.

What do you drive today?

I am currently driving a 2008 1.4 litre Black Volkswagen Jetta courtesy of Blackwater Motors in Fermoy. It is a lovely car and very comfortable.

How often do you change your car?

Thanks to Blackwater Motors I have changed my car every year for the last two years. The management has been very good to me in that regard and I must thank them no end for it. I had a VW Jetta last year and again this year and they were both lovely cars.

Your favourite place to drive?

That is a tough one. Driving to Dingle is a nice spin especially around Inch Strand. Also the spin to Ventry and Ceann Sibheal is quite nice on a lovely summer's day.

The best car you ever drove?

At present it would be the car I am currently driving as it is a lovely comfortable car and has a straightforward dashboard that is comfortable on the eye. Volkswagen cars are first-class to drive.

What's your dream car?

I wouldn't really have a dream car. I don't want to put pressure on Blackwater Motors if I stated a dream car!!!!

What's on your CD player?

Currently Mary Black's 25 year Anniversary CD - Some fantastic songs on the CD.

Worst thing about driving in Cork?

Road works or roads closed around the city.

Best thing about driving in Cork?

All the narrow streets that you can travel which also serve as shortcuts with where you want to go. Plus the fact that it is generally a small city so not too much time is spent in traffic as a result.
