The fact that many of these resources are located in the least stable parts of the world will surely only lead to further conflicts down the road.
Apparently there is an objection to attending to duties “as required” when you are at work. The whole thing came to a head last week when a train driver refused to drive a train to Charleville for training a new driver. In most jobs these days refusing to carryout duties as basic as this would get you the sack, and rightly so. Thousands of people journeys were disrupted as a result right across the weekend. In all honesty, it time to look into that pony and trap.
