Man taken to hospital following incident

A man has been taken to the CUH in Cork city with serious injuries following a traffic accident at 8am this morning on the main Killarney to Cork road.

The N22 road has been reopened near Ballyvourney following a serious road traffic collision that occurred between a truck and a car at 8am today.

Gardaí reported that the male occupant of the car was taken to CUH with serious injuries. There is no update on the situation at present and investigations are ongoing.
