Keeping an eye on the prize

Wednesday, 9th August, 2017 4:48pm

Specsavers Opera Lane in Cork City Centre has been included among the 2017 Retail Excellence Top100 Stores. The store was shortlisted for the awards due to its commitment to its customers and team work within the staff.

"It is an absolute honour to be included. This achievement is testimony to the hard work and passion that is displayed by our team. We are proud to be part of the Specsavers brand and are passionate about our customers, staff members and the local community," said John Morrin, Specsavers store director.
The Top100 stores list is part of the Retail Excellence Awards, established in 1997 to promote best practice and encourage high standards in the Irish retail industry. Recognising companies for their excellence in customer service, professionalism and attention to detail, an awards ceremony will be held on 11 November.
Mr Morrin noted that a customer recently commented on Specsavers exceeding the service and standards criteria Retail Excellence has put in place, which can only be beneficial in securing an award.
