Crafty creations on Pana

Wednesday, 4th October, 2017 5:53pm

Mayfield students are exhibiting their crafty creations in the city centre.

Bank of Ireland’s Workbench, located in its Patrick Street branch, launched an exhibition of woodwork by students from Mayfield Community Training Centre.

The exhibition was launched on Wednesday and the work will be on show for a month. Mayfield Community Training Centre provides a learner-centered approach and trainees at the Centre have created bespoke woodcrafts.

Maria Lago O’ Sullivan, General Manager at the Mayfield Community Training Centre said: "For many young people, when they first came through our doors they had reached a point where life's possibilities had seemed limited. As such, it’s great to be able to showcase their great work at the Bank of Ireland Workbench for the month of October.”
