Burglary at a city centre coffee shop

A man will appear before the courts this morning after a spate of burgalries in Cork city. 

Gardaí confirmed this morning that they arrested and charged the man, who is in his 30s, in relation to a burglary at a coffee shop on Carey's Lane yesterday.
 
At about 2pm, gardaí from Anglesea Street were called to scene of the burglary.

Following a search of the surrounding area, the man was arrested and brought to Anglesea Street Garda Station where he was detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.
 
The man was charged and will appear before Cork City District Court this morning in relation to this incident and four other burglaries which occurred at business premises in the Cork city area during June 2018.
