The builder is Fachtna Crowley Construction Ltd (FCCL), a company whose handiwork in other developments in the village bears witness to its reputation for a high standard of workmanship. Indeed, what is especially notable in the existing estates developed by FCCL is the excellent quality of the landscaping, always a sign of a developer's commitment to getting things right. Crossbarry is, of course, well known as the site of one the most famous battles in the War of Independence, but what is not probably general realised is its convenience as a location. Set agains a backdrop of rich agricultural land, the village is just a 15-minute drive from Dunnes Stores in Bishopstown while Ballincollig is just a short hop by country road as also are Innishannon and Bandon.

The village itself also has plenty of amenities, including a supermarket, crèche, schools, churches, soccer pitch, post office and pub. There are three primary schools in the area and secondary schools in Bandon and Ballincollig.

Given the success of the first phase, this development is bound to prove popular. Special features include a quality fireplace in the sitting room, which also has cornicing, while the kitchen is characterised by a hand-crafted fitted units and includes all white goods. Two of the bedrooms have fitted wardrobes, with an en-suite in the master bedroom.

Also, these homes will boast a hardwood front door, solid ash doors, red deal, varnished tongue and groove floorboards on the first floor and pvc double-glazed windows. A patio pvc door leads onto the garden. Both front and rear gardens will be lawned and seeded.

Cut limestone pillars grace the entrance, while decorative street lighting will add to the ambience of this attractive development, which will share attractive green areas.
