Legendary Cork entertainer Paddy Comerford will perform his hit one-man show for one night only this Sunday at the Everyman Palace Theatre. It was only in May that Paddy performed his first ever solo show. That performance also took place at the Everyman and was recorded to become Paddy Comerford's first DVD, simply named 'Just Paddy'.

David McSavage is one of Ireland's most controversial and boundary pushing comedians. He has been arrested several times over the years and has triggered complaints after several of his numerous Late Late Show appearances. Surprisingly enough, the Late Late Show has been one of his greatest patrons; he has appeared on the show "six or seven times", by his own reckoning.

A new Cork girl band called The Dreams play their debut gig next week. The band comprises of singer/actress Jean Elliot, singer/actress Emma Cotter and singer Emer O'Sullivan. All three girls come from strong performing arts backgrounds and began rehearsing last summer to form the new band.

Written by Mark McAvoy, Cork Rock explores the history of Cork rock from the early days of legendary guitarist Rory Gallagher in the 1960s, through the Finbarr Donnelly-led punk era of the 1980s, to local indie legends The Frank And Walters and the irrepressible Sultans of Ping.
