Christian Brothers schools handed over to trust

Fishermen warn of industry collapse

Fishermen from across the country protesting at the Sea Fisheries Protection Agency (SFPA) headquarters in Clonakilty this week have warned that the Irish fishing industry if facing collapse. The fishermen say that unworkable quotas, cheap foreign imports, lack of government help and the rocketing cost of fuel could finish off the Irish fishing industry once and for all.
