What A weekend we have coming up. The 3rd round of the FAI Cup and the start of Euro 2008 combine to make it a busy few days. Indeed the three forthcoming weeks will provide us with some pretty amazing attractions over in Austria and Switzerland.

I am in London this week enjoying the hub. This is my favourite time of the year to visit this wonderful city. The quite gorgeous weather hints broadly at a warm summer to come and the inhabitants, emerging from their seasonal confinement, are starting to un-lace their personalities from the straight jacket of winter.

With a little over one week before the 13th Heineken Cup Final kicks-off in Cardiff, the hype surrounding the whole event is beginning to build. This will be Munster's fourth appearance at this stage of the competition in the last nine seasons.

I watched three professional football games last week in Spain. One in Murcia in La Liga. The second in Torrevieja and the third in San Javier. I also found time to watch the Champions League Semi-Final's on Television and I also played a bit of ball with the grandson. What a holiday.

Over the last seven days, stock in the Munster brand has soared to an all-time high. Victory over Saracens at the Ricoh Arena last Sunday means Munster will contest their second Heineken Cup Final in three seasons at the end of May.
