Snooker sensation is May winner

Wednesday, 28th June, 2017 4:42pm

Ross Bulman (15), completed an unprecedented quadruple at the National Championships at the Ivy Room – the home of the Republic of Ireland Billiards and Snooker Association (RIBSA) – last month.

Winning four titles in two days, Ross entered the record books by being the first person to do this.

Ross’ talent became apparent at an early age. At just 14 years old, he was ranked third in Europe. He has won everything at Cork county level, captained his country to success in Wales and before last month’s success, had won five national titles in two years.

Key to his success is that he doesn’t miss any easy balls and is capable of playing the exceptional shots when required.

His quadruple win is a step in his development into a top class professional snooker player, all aided by the support of his mother and father, Colin and Annette, his brother Adam and his grandfather Mick.

For his recent win, Ross was presented with the Cork City and County Youth Award for May at the Metropole Hotel, in association with John Buckley Sports.
