Touch up tricks

Makeup on the go is, at this point in my life, an essential.

As a busy girl about town, my time is limited so anything that is in a palette or compact saves me time and my shoulder from the strain of carrying around multiple items in my handbag!

The more compact the item, the better for me.

I know that clutch bags are a bit short on space, so I have some great micro products to help you stay flawless all day.

One of the best things you can have is a highlight and contour palette with a few eyeshadows in it too.

The LMD Master Palette by Bperfect ticks all the boxes in relation to desk to dancefloor.

It is not heavy and is flat to fit in your handbag with enough variety to not look boring.

Load up your lip brush with lipstick and this will save you carrying the lipstick itself and will allow for precision touch ups. You can buy lip brushes for under €5 in pharmacies.

Synchro Skin Cushion Compact Bronzer (€45), the first cushion-format bronzer by Shiseido, creates dream skin that looks translucently tanned and incredibly radiant.

The universal shade enhances every skin tone when patted over facial curves to imitate the sun's rays or used for light contouring.

Apply alone or over foundation.

The Mavala Mini Colour Collection was developed on a simple, yet great idea; nail polish, regardless of the quality, tends to dry out sooner or later, especially when the bottle is frequently opened.

The Mavala Mini Colours have been designed to minimize solvent evaporation and to reduce the amount of waste!

There's an incredible selection of colours, it's super travel friendly and only €4.99! It is available from pharmacies nationwide.

For a versatile liquid liner that is fool proof, then try Isa Dora Precise Roll-On Liner (€12.95). Let the rolling applicator do all the work for the perfect, pigmented liquid line, every time.

The wheel applicator makes it super easy to roll on a precise, even line along the eyelid.

It's perfect for creating all types of eyeliner effects – classic or creative lines.

The same applies to anything that is handy for duo use or topping up. Take, for example, the Garnier Nutrisse Express Retouch (€14.99). It's great for the stray greys that just seem to pop up out of nowhere, particularly when I am fixing my hair while parked. It is compact, and I have it in the glovebox of my car. So handy!

Nuxe'ss Huile Prodigieuse is a moisturising product that nourishes, helps to repair and soften the face, body and hair in a single step.

It feels sumptuous on the skin and is light on the mid to end of hair.
