For those of you who haven’t been hanging on my every word for the past month (shame on you) I’m presently recovering from a recent operation. And as I continue to convalesce, the one thing I now have in abundance, is time. With the “worst” of my ordeal over, Himself has gone back to work. During the past week, Chez SuKi encountered an enemy that is (if one is to believe the youngest member of the household) more frightening than Isis, more elusive than Lord Lucan and more determined than a bargain hunter in the New Year sales. Survival of the Fittest

Earlier in the week, I read that a little boy had survived for three days and nights in a Siberian forest, emerging unharmed after a frantic search by his family and emergency services. Quite remarkable when one thinks about it and thankfully a happy outcome for everyone concerned.read more...
