Dromkeen Woods in Innishannon is a leafy oasis for anyone feeling a bit of cabin fever over the festive season, and now you can marry hi-tech with woodland magic for an interactive family day out with Cork Sports Partnership and Wanderful.
Simply download the Wanderful Christmas app and seek festive symbols placed along the trail. When found, use the app camera to unlock a 3D animated experience of Santa or one of his helpers. Your task is to find all symbols to complete elf training. When all are discovered, you get the opportunity to take a picture with an elf hat and certificate.
When the animations are found, it is also possible to get pictures interacting with them - imagine the fun of capturing pictures with Mrs. Claus, some elves or even some dancing snowmen in the woods this Christmas!
