A truly vintage venue

Wednesday, 7th August, 2019 4:44pm

The Eccles Hotel has been welcoming wedding couples to this idyllic part of West Cork since 1745, and has hosted such distinguished guests as WB Yeats, Maureen O’Hara and Pippa Middleton.

As the final touches are added to the major €1m renovation, sparkling clean chandeliers and restored fireplaces transport guests back in time to the heyday of Ireland’s longest running hotel. Eccles Hotel offers a perfect blend of tradition and class, in a timeless and truly vintage venue.

Each of the 57 bedrooms will be individually restyled to highlight their unique characters, meaning your guests will have plenty to talk about, besides your big day of course.

Curated by Eccles’ in-house wedding planner, Rose O’Sullivan will offer tailor-made wedding celebrations to couples looking for a venue that will live long in the memory.

Eccles’ exciting array of wedding packages start at €55 per guest, with a maximum capacity of 250 guests ensuring your wedding party is given the attention and care it deserves.

The Eccles’ bridal suite The Yeats Suite is complementary on your wedding night as part of a package. It’s also the ideal location for bridal party preparations on the morning of your wedding. On the first morning of the rest of your lives, enjoy complementary breakfast on your room’s private terrace while re-living the day that was.

With the new kitchen, garden and spa a key part of the renovations, Eccles recommends the happy couple indulge in a treatment using fresh herbs from Eccles’ spa garden or organic VOYA seaweed. Afterwards, soak in an outside hot-tub amongst the spa garden while gazing over Bantry Bay.

The wedding menu options, consisting of locally sourced food from West Cork artisan food producers, are tailored to suit your tastes and budget.
