UCC is set on supplying the goods

Wednesday, 22nd January, 2020 4:43pm

If you’re looking for a career in supply chain management (SCM), then look no further than UCC this year. The college is currently offering a range of part-time SCM programmes, from undergraduate to postgraduate levels.

Delivered in conjunction with industry practitioners, these programmes blend academic and practical expertise, with an aim to improve global supply chain processes through cost reduction and value-add. The programmes place a strong emphasis on supply chain efficiency, leadership, strategy, logistics, information systems, responsiveness, leadership, and integrated project management.

Adopting a Lean SCM philosophy, which removes unwanted steps from a process, these programmes are aimed at career minded practitioners who work in supply chain or related functions.

Applications are now being accepted for a September 2020 commencement for both Masters/Postgraduate Diploma in SCM (Lean SCM Black Belt), and Certificate/Diploma in SCM (including Lean SCM Green Belt modules). For more, visit ucc.ie/scm, or contact Dr Seamus O’Reilly or Ms Aoife Sammon at scm@ucc.ie or 021-4901833.
