Two weeks until property auction

Wednesday, 13th February, 2019 4:59pm

The next Munster Property Auction will take place in just two weeks time.

The auction team has seen steady enquiry and viewing interest in most of the properties to be offered for sale at the upcoming auction event.

Patrick Convey of The Munster Property Auction said: “Over the past couple of years, we have found a larger presence of mortgage buyers in the market in the first six months of the year. This is largely down to lending restrictions on mortgage providers.

“Again this year we have noticed a spike in mortgage buyers since the turn of the year. Activity is steady almost all year round now for good investment stock and commercial property.”

This will be put under the hammer in partnership with Dick Barry & Son, Fermoy and is offered at bids over €275,000.

This property comprises 7,000 square foot of well-presented living space containing a well-proportioned five-bedroom main residence and four-bedroom annex with courtyard.

The property offers huge commercial potential and has previously traded as a public house, restaurant and guest house.

This 800 square foot of modern office space and retail in Bantry town is ready for immediate occupation.

Offered in partnership with Pat Maguire Properties in Skibbereen, it is deal for owner occupiers or as a well position investment.

This 27 acres of forestry is being offered in partnership with J&M O’Mahony, Macroom at bids over €65,000.

Planted about 12 years ago with eight years of payments left at €5,000 per annum, this would be an ideal opportunity for a forestry investor seeking to add to their portfolio.
