Ain’t nothing ‘Wrong’ with this new single

Wednesday, 28th August, 2019 4:50pm

Sometimes a singer comes to the forefront with a talent so evident that it’s impossible to ignore. That may be the case with 22 year old Clodagh O’Sullivan.

This vocal coach and backing singer from Cork is stepping into the spotlight with her single, ‘Wrong’, to be released Friday 30 August. It is the first track from her debut EP, ‘In All of Your Glory’, out 20 September. Despite this being her first solo project, Clodagh is no stranger to the world of music. Having previously formed a band, she is studying at BIMM (British and Irish Modern Music) Dublin and has trained under renowned vocal coaches such as Gemma Sugrue. With her deeply expressive lyrics and velvety vocals, it’s clear that this young new artist is an old soul.

Her vocals in ‘Wrong’ are hauntingly beautiful, filled to the brim with rich tones showcasing her talents. Moreover, Clodagh’s ability to layer vocals so precisely to create a hazy, rose-tinted effect is incredible to hear. Indeed, she has created some mellow-pop gold.

As the EP title suggests, we should get ready for what this gifted singer-songwriter has in store for us! To stream the single on 30 August, visit clodaghosmusic.com.
