Wednesday, 17th June, 2020 3:37pm

With Phase 2 of the lifting of restrictions well underway, many shops across Cork have reopened their doors for business.

Regatta Great Outdoors, the outdoor apparel, footwear and camping retailer has reopened its two stores in Unit 3, Westside Retail Park, Ballincollig and 62 Oliver Plunkett Street.

The safety and health of Regatta employees and customers remains the company’s main priority, Regatta says. All stores have all the necessary health and safety measures will be in place in store including providing sanitiser for customers when they enter the outlet.

The two-metre social distancing rule will be maintained with a limited number of customers allowed to be on the premises at any one time - this will include a queuing code outside the premise.

Furthermore, safety shields will be installed at tills and there will be clear marking for queuing in store.

Changing rooms will be closed for safety, until further notice. Regatta Great Outdoors is also selling disposable face masks which are available online and in store.

In store, customers can check out the new summer season collection which include women’s Marine Sport breathable trainers (€45), men’s Delgado walking shorts (€19.95) and kids Bibiana waterproof jackets (€42.45) to equip you on family walking adventures.

All the new collections also available online on regatta.ie.

The store re-opening hours will be Monday to Sunday 10am – 6pm.
