Calling all apprentices and qualified technicians! Blackwater Motors Group is hosting a recruitment night next week at its Forge Hill branch.

The event is aimed at anyone considering a career in the fast-paced and evolving automotive industry, offering candidates a chance to see first-hand the opportunities for career progression within Blackwater Motors.

Members of the Blackwater Motors Aftersales Team will be available on the night to meet with candidates and speak one-to-one about the apprentice programme.

The programme includes the standard SOLAS programme, specialised Volkswagen training, and the benefits of completing an apprenticeship with Blackwater Motors which includes a tool box worth €4,000, a professional technician’s uniform and the opportunity to work onsite and offsite.

For already qualified technicians, there are currently a number of positions available within the Blackwater Motors Group. Attendees will be welcome to take tours of the state of the art workshop where they can learn more about the group.

Speaking about the event, Adam Lyons, Blackwater Motors Group Service Manager, said: “At Blackwater Motors we welcome anyone who is thinking of a career in the automotive industry to attend to get in depth information on the automotive industry and career opportunities.”

The Blackwater Motors Group Apprentice and Qualified Technicians Recruitment Night will take place next Thursday 15 August at the group’s Volkswagen, Forge Hill branch from 7.30pm.
