Cork homeowners now have more choice than ever as World of Tiles has opened a new showroom at Turner's Cross Retail Park.

Staff including Donal Higgins, Managing Director, Fiona Higgins, Sales Director, Jonathan Higgins, Regional Manager and Vincent Bickerstaffe, Store Manager were joined by Cork Olympian Rob Heffernan to cut the ribbon at the grand opening recently.

Fun was had by all at the event with a €500 voucher giveaway up for grabs, while the children were delighted to get their photos taken with Rob Heffernan, who brought his medals along on the day.

The Kinsale Road store is the company’s fifth after Mullingar, Limerick, Dublin and Tralee.

The Irish-owned company fulfills customers’ home renovation needs at wholesale prices, selling both bathroom and wood flooring. They have a wide range of stock, all available to take home on the day. The Cork store also includes an exclusive boutique section.

Speaking to the Cork Independent, Managing Director Donal Higgins explained the unique service Cork customers can expect from the company, including their price guarantee.

“If you can source the same product elsewhere for less, we will beat the price quotation by five per cent over the difference. That's our price promise to you. We sell at wholesale prices directly to the customer and to other Tiles stores throughout the country, hence our top quality Spanish tiles are the best value there is.”

World of Tiles is contracted to the biggest tiling project in the country, working on homes made unsafe by the use of pyrite. World Of Tiles has been supplying top quality Spanish material to these homeowners for the past five years.
