Write on kids!

Sensational Kids is hosting an award winning workshop in Clonakilty next month.

The Handwriting without Tears programme, which originated in the US and has been available in Ireland through Sensational Kids for the past seven years, runs across one full day and equips participants with the skills, strategies and resources they need to understand and teach the handwriting process.

The comprehensive curriculum uses engaging multisensory techniques and research-based methods to make handwriting a natural and automatic skill for children of all ages and abilities.

Tania Ferrandino, occupational therapist and Handwriting without Tears presenter said: “The Handwriting without Tears programme is used throughout the US - over three million students have learned to write successfully using the curriculum.

“I’ve thoroughly enjoyed teaching our easy-to-learn, developmentally appropriate strategies to Irish audiences and look forward to working with a wider group of participants this year.”

Handwriting without Tears takes place on Saturday 22 June from 9am to 5pm at Sensational Kids, Clonakilty.
