The Hothouse Flowers will perform on 14 June.

Cork Racecourse is ready to rock!

Although one of their most famous songs is called 'Don't Go', the Hothouse Flowers will be preaching the opposite ahead of their gig at Cork Racecourse Mallow. Following the success of the Barry Group Race & Taste Festival in May, the racecourse has announced Hothouse Flowers as its Cork Rocks' headliner for this year's event on 14 June.

Hothouse Flowers were recently invited to feature in the opening scene of Amazon Prime’s show 'The Grand Tour' to perform their version of 'I Can See Clearly Now' for an invited audience in the Mojave Desert. The song went to number 1 in the UK iTunes Rock Charts, 26 years after its first release!

Speaking ahead of Cork Rocks, general manager, Andrew Hogan said: "We are thrilled to announce that true Irish legends, The Hothouse Flowers, will join us for the first time at the racecourse on 14 June. No two Hothouse Flowers concerts are the same and they always deliver an energetic show, making this a night not to be missed. Due to popular demand, firm favourites, the much loved Gina & The Champions will join us once more on 12 July."

Hothouse Flowers will be preceded by an action packed card of racing and a selection of hospitality packages, from the super value Social Pack option which at just €20 includes admission to the racing and concert, race card, tote voucher and drinks voucher, to the Summer BBQ package at €50 to include admission and seating in the Pavilion. The restaurant package at just €55 includes racing and concert, reserved table with views overlooking the racecourse, four course meal and tipster.
