Cork restaurant Les Gourmandises has closed its doors after 18 years in business.

After 18 years of business, popular Cork restaurant Les Gourmandises, has closed its doors for good.

The restaurant, which specialised in French cuisine, was run by Pat and Soizic Kiely and received a number of awards such as Best Restaurant in Cork, and Best Restaurant in Munster. Pat Kiely was also named Best Chef in Cork by the Restaurant Association of Ireland. A post on the restaurant’s Facebook page read: “After 18 years of business on Cook Street, Les Gourmandises restaurant has closed.

“We would like to thank you our staff, suppliers and also our fabulous customers who supported us over the years.”
