Jess Leen gets all the Compliments

Cork singer Jess Leen will play a homecoming show this weekend in support of her new single.

The London-based artist recently launched her second track ‘Compliments’, which was recorded and produced by Brian Casey at Wavefield Studio in Clonakilty.

Leen will be playing Music Zone in Douglas this Saturday 13 July, part of a mini-tour which has already taken her to the iconic Coughlan’s pub on Leeside, and which will wrap up with a London date later this month.

‘Compliments’ is a pop/R'n'B number evoking the likes of Desree and Gabrielle, showcasing Leen’s ’90s pop roots following her debut release ‘Boys’, which came out in February.

‘Compliments’ was recorded with Leen’s band, made up of local Cork musicians Fionn Hennessy Hayes, Dylan Howe and Kevin Herron.

The band are joining Leen on her mini-tour. She plays Music Zone this Saturday 13 July at 1pm.
