Leave it to the professionals

More than 250 delegates will be in the rebel county next month when one of Ireland’s biggest national conferences for professional women comes to Cork.

The Network Ireland National Conference and Awards Ceremony will be hosted by designer, business woman and social entrepreneur, Sonya Lennon, and will feature a host of keynote speakers and panelists including Deputy Chief News Editor of the Wall Street Journal, Gráinne McCarthy.

Themed 'Step Up', this year’s annual conference is designed to ensure women in business have the resilience, motivation, insights and know-how to fulfill their potential and lead and inspire others.

Following on from the conference will be the Businesswoman of the Year Awards Banquet at which the winners from Network Ireland’s regional awards will compete for the coveted national awards.

President of Network Ireland, Helen Wycherley, said: “Through the conference we will empower women to step up to the challenge, grow their confidence, seize opportunities and drive their personal and professional development. Our awards will recognise the outstanding success and achievements of our members.”

The Network Ireland National Conference and Awards Ceremony will take place on 27 September at the Celtic Ross Hotel, West Cork.
