I'll sea you there!

Time to take to, and also taste, the high seas! This year's Cork Oyster and Seafood Festival is set to host a Seafood and Sail event where people can enjoy the best Cork has to offer.

The event will take place on 21 September and will kick off in Crosshaven. The day long event will begin at midday, where people can enjoy a Mad Fish Stew packed with fresh fish and shellfish at Cronin’s Pub before walking to the Hugh Coveney Pier to watch a shucking demo and indulge in a fresh oyster.

From there you can hop on board the Ocean Escape boat for a two hour harbour cruise taking in places like Spike Island, Cobh, Blackrock Castle and Camaden Fort Meagher. Cork brewery The Rising Sons will be on board providing refreshments while sailing in to Cork city. The night doesn’t finish there as Crawford and Co. will then host a seafood barbecue with monkfish, mussles and more ocean treats to top the evening off.

The tickets cost is €95 per person (plus booking fee) and can be bought on oceansescape.ie and includes the Mad Fish Seafood at Cronin’s Pub, oyster shucking demo and a fresh oyster, tickets for the Ocean Escape trip, seafood barbecue at Crawford and Co. and three drinks at each establishment.
