Co-working space is thriving 1 year in
Co-working is the future of work, according to An Tánaiste Simon Coveney among others, as one Cork space this week celebrated its first birthday.
Culture Co-Working, a provider of fully connected remote working facilities and shared-space office and meeting room hire, held a brunch-time gathering to celebrate at their premises in the Marina Commercial Park on Centre Park Road this week.
At the 1,700 sq. ft offices, guest speaker An Tánaiste and Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade, Simon Coveney TD addressed topics including the future of Cork, the future of work and the importance of start-ups and co-working.
Commenting on Culture Co-Working’s first anniversary, Mr Coveney said: “New enterprise is the corner stone of economic prosperity, and with the spotlight firmly on Cork as a growth hub for industry and technological innovation, we need to plan and prepare for the increasingly diverse and agile needs of the next generation of business influencers.”
He added: “Andrew is clearly focused on the future and, through Culture Co-Working, is providing a flexible service to support multi-sector requirements.”
Culture Co-Working boasts unrestricted 24 hours office access for optimal flexi-working conditions, an easily accessible location just outside, but in close proximity to the city centre and all associated amenities, and ample free parking onsite.
Andrew, a long-time advocate of flexi-working for enhanced productivity, identified a gap in the market for flexible affordable co-working and hot desk facilities that serve the needs of those setting up a new business or returning to work on a part-time or project basis.
His research also highlighted the demand for extra and temporary office space by established businesses, and he launched his new venture in summer 2018.
His aim was to provide the highest standards of remote and co-working facilities for clients, and one year on, his goal remains focused on playing his part in supporting the growth of the flexible working environment of tomorrow.
