Take control of your body again

Whether you’re looking for treatment for a sports injury or you need advice on rehabilitation, Avondhu Physiotherapy Clinic (APC) will be at the Cork Business & Summit Expo 2019 to help you out.

With 13 per cent of the population suffering from a chronic pain illness, APC focuses on reducing pain and working out what the root of the problem actually is.

APC’s goals is for their patients to be pain free, medication free and also free from the fear of the injury and pain reoccurring.

APC can help with taking back control of your own body, if you feel like it is letting you down. With in-depth assessments that identify the exact area of pain and discomfort, APC treats everyone differently with a unique approach.

They also help with educating people on how to avoid the pain and discomfort in the future. The APC team will also help to ensure that people know how their own bodies respond to different stresses and situations and will advise on how best to avoid the injury reoccurrence, recurring pain and discomfort in the future.

The physiotherapists can also help people to regain their confidence, strength and self-esteem, as often people can lose their confidence due to limitations because of their body.

APC pride themselves by being able to help people get out of their comfort zone and reach their goals - for example returning to work and getting back to a hobby, sport or training.

APC founder Patrick Hanley has worked with the Munster Rugby team, the Irish rugby squad, Cork City FC, MS Ireland, Parkinson’s Society and active retired groups across Ireland.

The Avondhu Physiotherapy clinic can be found at stand 35 of the Cork Business & Summit Expo 2019 next Tuesday and can also be located in Lapps Quay, Cork city and in Fermoy, county Cork.
