Walking in a Fota wonderland

Listen out for sleigh bells, because Santa Claus will be making his way to Fota Island Resort this year! Jolly ol' St Nick will be there to attend this year's Fota Wonder Christmas Experience.

Now in its seventh festive season at Fota Island Resort, Santa and his elves have something very special planned for this year's experience. He’s inviting boys and girls of all ages to help him prepare for the most magical day of the year. Visitors can expect a stunning winter wonderland that will bring something special for all the family while Santa Claus is looking forward to meeting thousands of children during his visit.

Fota’s Wonder Christmas Experience will allow attendees to see behind the scenes of Santa’s magical workshop as the elves explain how they make so many toys for all the girls and boys. Each year Fota Island Resort welcomes over 60,000 guests to its Christmas wonderland, with the experience lasting for 90 minutes.

Fota Island Resort will also host a dedicated charity night during the Wonder experience, which invites several local charities to attend, along with 1,000 family members. Whilst the Wonder Christmas Experience is accessible to all during opening hours, allocated times will be available for those with sensory needs where the music will be softer and the lighting dimmer to create a calming and soothing atmosphere. There will be full wheelchair accessibility and guide dogs and assistance dogs are welcome throughout the event.

Wonder at Fota Island Resort runs from 23 November to 23 December. Ticket prices are €14 per adult and €21 per child with children under one attending for free.
