Make a wish this festive season

Fancy some early Christmas shopping with the decadence of the 1920s? If so, you’re in for a treat!

Make-A-Wish Ireland, the charity that grants the wishes of children living with life-threatening medical conditions, is hosting a fun and fabulous vintage themed afternoon called Vintage Chic – The Roaring 20s.

Taking place on Sunday 24 November in the Metropole Hotel, you can enjoy a prosecco reception, afternoon tea, music, fashion and early Christmas shopping while supporting the granting of wishes for brave and very special children across the country.

Guests will be greeted on the day by a prosecco reception at 1pm while enjoying the dulcet tones of Aaron Deane and the Songstress.

This will be followed by a delicious afternoon tea in the main ballroom which will be decorated with 1920s themed décor to rival a Great Gatsby party! So, who will you dress up as?

The afternoon will continue with a vintage fashion show featuring the best in vintage and vintage-inspired boutiques from all over Ireland.

Styled by Martina will be on hand to offer some expert styling tips and advice after the show. Renowned performer Foxy P Cox will treat everyone to a truly spectacular feather dance to round off the day!

There will also be pop up shops to buy Christmas gifts from as well as a prize for the best dressed lady on the day.

The event is expected to end at 6pm.
