Parking made simple

As the dash to the shops begins this Christmas, the last thing you need is the stress that comes with finding a lovely parking space.

Help is at hand though. Here’s a list of parking arrangements in some of Cork’s bigger towns, so you’ll be able to do some shopping and have a cup of tea and a mince pie along the way too.

There’s also free parking from 1pm on Fridays and Saturdays, however this is subject to usual time restrictions. The council-owned car parks are at Muddy Hill, Bowling Green, Carmichael Lane, Park Road, Bridge Street, Spa Road and St James Avenue.
