Festive fun at Wilton

The countdown to Christmas is on! Santa, Mrs Claus and their elves are set to arrive at Wilton Shopping Centre tomorrow to officially get the holiday season underway.

The team at Wilton is extending a warm invitation to families of all sizes to join them for turning on of the Christmas lights at 7pm on Friday 29 November. The festivities will kick off at 5pm when Philip Bourke, Colm O'Sullivan and the RedFM patrollers will be playing everyone's favourite Christmas music at a festive flavoured roadshow. Frozen's Elsa and Olaf will also join up with Santa to make the party that extra special!

“From gorgeous gifts to festive fashions, we have Christmas wrapped up,” said Susanne Irwin, Manager of Wilton Shopping Centre.

“We have so much to offer shoppers this festive season with a fabulous choice of gifts, free customer parking and over 60 shops under one roof. We even have the elves’ free gift wrapping station ensuring that all gifts bought here are wrapped by Santa’s little helpers. Wilton Shopping Centre is the perfect place to start your Christmas shopping this year!”

Santa will be waiting to meet all the boys and girls at his grotto and to hear their wishes for Christmas and there will also be face painting, balloon modelling and lots of sing along Frozen fun!

There is also the opportunity to remember loved ones at the centre’s remembrance tree.

If it's a present you're after, gift vouchers are on sale in denominations of €10, €20 and €50 and can be bought online through the Wilton website while a handy free gift wrapping service is on offer at the Customer Service Desk.

Opening hours will be extended throughout December with Wilton Shopping Centre open from 9am to 9pm, Monday to Friday, 9am to 7pm on Saturday and Sunday’s opening hours run from 11am to 6pm.
